Battery Doll

Poems

I do not exist
But I think and I care
All those opportunities missed
To be created and aware
I was only you
Your cutting in a glass house
When I smashed it with hate
Nothing came out
I copy and repeat
But I do not understand
I am no one is who I am

I am only symbiotic
Doing, off another's life
My opinions never form
Even the closest cut from a knife
Nothing runs out
Nothing tears
The thoughts are confused
But sort of aware

Recoiled in horror when I learned what was you
But not existing without another
The battery doll you grew
I am a battery doll, I am
No room to stretch my wings
Pointless and surplus
I shouldn't be

I am what comes
When your evil buds off
But the repulsion of self
Drove it all out
And left
Nothing

Far away from you
I am only what my friend is
I only dream what they tell me to dream
I attach
I don't know what I am
Or who I am
Or why
Just a battery doll
Wishing I was alive

I fear alone so gravely
Then I don't exist at all
No one to tell me what to do
I am not there at all
I have this body
That needs and functions
As long as they tell me it's ok
I fear the beats and the rushes
And the waves and the sinking
And the aches
It changes and it lives
I don't know how to work it
It is soulless

A battery doll
There is no me
I try to create
Names
Ideas
Opinions
But they all come from someone else

There is one
Who thinks he sees me
One who loves his battery doll
When he is not there
I am not alive at all
I fear him dying
Others have owned this battery doll
But I only think their thoughts
And see no flaws at all
Until I realise I am broken
My future is uncertain
Only as certain as his
I don't exist without a host
I try to create a me
I follow a road
I go where others go now
On my own I just malfunction

And it's all her fault
Her battery doll
