You say you love me

But then you hate me

How can I believe

Things you say

When at first I trust you

You just push me away



You give me a smile

Then you make me cry

How can I know

What is right

When at first I’m what you needed

I’m then unable to make it right



You say I’m the perfect girl

Then I am just nothing

How can I stand

Out from all the rest

When you say I cause your pain

But then say I’m simply the best



Your dreams are of me

Then nightmares haunt you

I make you vision

Yet also so jaded

Tell the sandman not to visit

I don’t want to be a dream so hated
