The Noir Rain

THE NOIR RAIN

The blackest of precipitation is falling down so relentless tonight

Like Ebony tears from heaven I just want to ascend with you tonight

Descend with you deep into the bowels of our covers

This cold wet night I sit here and long for my sweet lover

Smother me like your blanket as we become joined with each other

There is no other that I would want spend with in this wet evening refrain

Our shadows commune with each other as sleet beats on my window pane

The frigid dusk rain is symbolic of this poet's released pain

Showers of void flood these urban streets leaving Indelible stains

I feel so drained replenish me with your baptism in that midnight hour

Watching these melanin falls, I fall inside of you and you can devour

Me  into your very being the definition of us is so freeing

Inside your soft gates I find shelter from sullen storms I'm fleeing

Be in that place where our spirits act as ONE

You are my amber streetlight when my urban loft is devoid of the sun

I want you to come and join together with me in this covenant

Safe from the damp chaos outside your warmth I'm loving it

Can you meet me in the post meridian with nature crying as the backdrop

Just like this barrage of December droplets, Let us never stop

Never end until we a have a perfect symbiotic blend

I'm the thunder and you are the lightning, I feel your saturation within

One day I'll make love to your clouds, then above them we can soar

When your atmosphere cannot hold anymore, then your Noir rain will pour.
