Lake Montebello

Time to return to return to the lake to ease my mind

Time to walk with nature serenity I'll find

The air is heather gray

It's a misty drizzling day

Seagulls and the ducks play

As the wind softly sends the current my way

Walking the trail just ahead I see in front of me

Look to the left Jesus floats on water beside me

I open up to the elements

No longer hide in me

I can no longer depend on another to ride with me

Because now I drive alone

The true test of one self is when one else is home

No ringing of my phone

So now to Montebello I roam

Like a wandering Nomad

That finds comfort on his own

Comfort in this dealing

Forced to cope with hurt feelings

Just let me circle this reservoir

To find my healing

Droplets bead on my hoodie

I don't dodge the puddles on the track

God whispers to me keep forward my son

Stop looking back

Better things await if you just go the distance

From your uncomfort I feel your resistance

Come and talk to me here

Commune and walk with me hear

Me with a clear mind

Your time is approaching near

I love doing these laps

While moisture is abundant in the atmosphere

From the water I have come

To the water I return

The life in it restores me

My spirit has taken a turn

Just need this time to work some things out

As I glide right by this pond

To deeply breathe in, then I s l o w l y

B R E A T H E A HHHHH O U T.
