Chloe Grace Moretz, who portrayed "Abby," in the film "Let Me In"---a character realization more powerful, more poetic, than even that supreme vampire tale, Robert Aickman's "Pages From A Young Girl's Journal." Through the length of the film, Abby is barefoot, even at the moment where, at great danger to her own existence (vampiric as it is), she saves her lover, her boy friend, from being drowned or tortured by bullies.
