Epigram On The Lake Of Fire
[after Matthew 13:42, and elsewhere]
Weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth:
a multitude of agonies shall seethe
in the lake of fire, around all those there doomed---
burnning in awful, relentless pain . . . but not consumed;
darkness too, as if entombed,
in lightless fire of ghastly pain . . . but not consumed.
The punishment of infinite damnation
upon all those who declined Gospel salvation . . .
