"Title Is Overrated"
by C.James apr'13
There are days where I feel as light as air and as free as a breeze. Then there are days where the chains are so heavy and tight, my airwaves close and claustrophobia sets in. Making the restlessness itch and burn under my skin. It gets to a point where I just want to peel of my shell and run across the surface of glass in my bare flesh, leaving a trail of blood to follow back to the heart that has seized to pump anymore feeling to my fingertips. The clouds rain down little drops of acid that hit my tongue piercing holes that whistle names of past dreams. Swallow my life into your lungs so you can fall into blue. It's true, I see you, allowing me to realize if I don't leave my feet and begin to fly, my veins will crawl into the soil of emptiness planting me forever in a hell that smiles lies and promises happiness, only to cover me with a false sense of reality.
