(24) 8/6/88 Grow Together

Grow old with me

so, we'll always be together

Grow young with me

and we'll be happy forever

Author's Notes/Comments:

I wrote this the same hour I wrote A LOVE POEM FOR MARK. I always liked my poem called THE SEED.  It was short and simple.  I wanted to write another poem like the earlier one.

As for what happened with Mark, there was no growing old with him.  He turned out to be a man that never opened up.  He was a loner who only respected his mother.  The marriage was one of neglect and control.  I suffered great trauma being rejected by him.  Although an slight improvement on Tom and Kon, Mark still came up lacking as far as husbands go in so many ways.
