One day I'm going to throw our fears to the breeze
The other day when I said our problems aren't few
Our pockets aren't filled
and our spark is becoming distilled
The other day I swore that our young days were through
Today I witnessed a whole other you
Care free, without misery
And I was still showing a little bit of lunacy
Today, my gray skies, turned a little blue
Someday, I'll smile and I'll ask you to dance
A new man, with renewed plans
and i write you love letters in the sand
