In This Dead City

In this dead city people no longer care

There is always one more wrong

And no more rights

No more smiling little ones

Always frowning

No more laughing, giggling children

Always crying

No more dancing in the streets so silly

Always sitting staring blank

No more praising of a good dead done

Always yelling of something bad

In this dead city people no longer care

There is always hate among everyone

And no more love

No more kissing of the cheek

Always spitting on the shoe

No more hugging tight of the one you love

Always slapping

No more "i love you"'s said to you

Always "I hate you"'s are said instead

In this dead city no one really knows

Why this is happening

why this is true

Why this city once son filled with love

Is now a waste land for hatters
