you say you love me for who i really am,

but you try to change me,

into someone who is not me,

i do not like the way things work,

i don't like to say the words that hurt,

i don't want to hear the voices,

that you have put upon me,

i want the words i speak to be free,

with no fear,

and with no volume.

you say you love me for who i really am,

but then you try to change me,

so why should i believe you.
