WAVES

WAVES
Waves keep crashing, crashing, crashing up on the beach.
How far can their reach?
They just have so much to teach.

So much, sure, the shore must endure.
They are never through.
That is what they do.
These waves of blue.
They keep hitting the sand.
The ocean hitting the land.
The sea see, just has no mercy.

You can see the impression, on the sand,  land, waves have made
The major price they have paid.

Month after month.  Year after year.
It goes on and on and on and on.
Just like night is followed by the dawn.
Day after day.  Week after week.
All night, all day.  That is the way.

When the wind does blow, the size of the waves can really grow.  I watch them go.
As can the intensity of the sea.
The wind can pick up in the afternoon.  You wonder, it is going to end soon?

The tide, with moon as guide.
It does between go high and low.
This occurs every six hours.
You can feel the power.
