  We stared. not believing in our minds, that each other again we would find..

               We eyed each other 

                           like

  Two male deer about to start fighting

                  Two political candidates before a national TV debate.

                  Two cars on one bridge

   Two sports superstars about to play each other on the field    

                      Two gladiators in the Roman forum
