WHERE'S THE DREAM?

Folder:
COUNTRY POEMS

A story no longer told.
It got old. It got cold.
It's now, only in our hearts and minds
You can't hide rewind
It's dead.
Now, just something in somebody's head.
A river that no longer flows.
A city, where no train ever goes.

Where's the dream?

A story long ago in a grandpa's head,
A story he told, but it did get old.
A story that to a son, a father once read

Where's the dream?

It's out the door. Something easy to ignore.
Aeay it did gp, a long time ago
no longer glows
A river no longer flows
Nobody knows
A tree no longer grows
A gentle wind no longer blows.

Where's the dream

It went away. A child who no more plays.
The night before the day.
It is now we just say remember when.
See, it's something that used to be.
It is done.
Now, it can be see, but not for everyone.

Where's the dream?

It got cold.
A business or a card game, did fold.
Now, it is just a story told.
