NIGHT DRIVING

Folder:
ABSTRACT POEMS

    On the road.

   Carrying a heavy load.

   Driving through this long night.

   Other vehicles flash like fireflies.

I'm trying to find a place to stay.

I'm trying to find a place where

a lot of money I wont have to pay.

Boy, I'd love a good meal.

I know better would be see how I feel.

See, I'd even love to watch some TV.

Just see do something to break up

   the monotony.

   It's the same every day.

   I go on my way.

   There's never a change.  Never a range.

I thought this would be fun.

Now, though, I want to be done.

I thought it would be a nice career.

   I shed a tear.  I have fear.
