ROAD TRIP

COUNTRY POEMS

                         All the different places,

                    all the different smiling faces.

All these cities and towns look the same.

It can drive you insane.

None of them are home.  I am really alone.  None, are any fun.

At me see, they do smile.

They tell me to sit down and stay awhile.

Me see, they are very nice.  Me, they try to entice.

                They ease the miles.

All the different cities I go,

All the pretty girls, so much about me, seem to know.

They follow me around.  They abound.  They can be found.

My name they scream.  I am, to them a dream.

It's hard to carry such a heavy load.

It's hard to be alone, far from home.
