                Three words, I never said

          Three words never spoken, a heart got broken.

           Yes, I'm thinking that as I lay in bed.

                        Yes, three words never said,

         going around and around and around in my head.

                       I just keep thinking of you.

                              So, so, blue.

                        Wonder I, what might have been?

   A different course?  A nice marriage instead of a divorce?

                        Wonder I, it could have been fun.

     Wonder I, tears flow from my eye.

                  Where could we go

                     A game, I could have won.

                     A race, not, and never done.
