YOU'RE AWAY

Folder:
COUNTRY POEMS

You're away, by a miles thousand and more.

    A fact I can't ignore.

       I don't understand.

          Across the land, half way.

You're away, by a thousand miles.  There are no smiles.

I sometimes, just want to cry.

Why does it have to be this way?  Why apart do we have to stay?

When will I see you.  When will come the day

          Until then, I'm blue.

There are no smiles.  Though, I want to send you one across the miles.

I remember, when at your home, I did stay and play.

   When I feel alone.

   Alone, phone.  E-mail, see, fail

  letter, better.

           I have'nt seen you in a while.

I, when I think of you, still smile.

When I get sad, I just think of

all the good times, we had.

When I get blue, I just think of

all the great things we did do.

              I really love you.

I count down the days, until again we can play.

At your place, at your space, I can stay.

I hope you see, it's with you, I want to be.
