I know you're about to leave.
I know I'm about to grieve.
But, before you go.
There's just one thing I want to know,
How long you be gone?
How many days will you be away?
How long away from me will you stay?
How long before again, we can play?
How hard will it be on the heart?
How long you be gone?
At home, here, my dear.
I have a lot of fear. I ever shed a tear.
There is not a lot to do. I just think of you.
A day into another day, with you I cannot play.
There must be, a better way.
How long you be gone?
When will you be home?
When will I no longer be alone?
When will this end?
When, again, will I see my friend?
How long you be gone?
