SHE HUNG UP ON ME

           She hung up on me.

I hope you can truly see.

No longer was the conversation going to go.

We were done.  It was no longer fun.

There was no more.  On me, she shut the door.

           A sign I can't ignore.

           She hung up on me.

She said we were through.  Yes, it's true.

I am so blue.  What am I to do?

What can I say?  She does not want to play.

With me, she does not want to stay.

             She hung up on me.

       A hurricaine rain.

A pain like a midnight freight train.

A pain of a bee sting; no longer me at her place,

            the phone ring.

            She hung up on me.

           That was all.

It was worse than holiday season at the mall.

I was hit by a wrecking ball.

            She hung up on me.
