CHICAGO BUSINESS TRIP-WINTER

COUNTRY POEMS

The museums are many.  I don't have a penny.

        I don't have a car.  I can't get far.

I hope you understand.  This city's grand.

But, without you, it is really bland.

On the ground, there is snow.

        Streets, there is no heat.

There's no sun, it's no fun.

There's no place I can go.

There's no excitment to be found.

On the list of big, this city see is theee.

A great city for trains, a strain and a pain on

        the brain.

I'm cold to the bone.  I'm all alone.

All alone in a city of millions.

I thought of your thoughts, I miss you lots.

        Lights bright

       So much to do.
