WESTBOUND

There is no longer a heavy rain.

There is no longer a intense pain.

There is just the very bright sun.

I know this is going to be very fun.

                  Westbound.

I hope this trip will never, ever, be done.

A new life to start, in my chest, pound does my heart.

A new life to begin.  At this game, I did win.

My face, a grin.  I'm going to a new place.

              Westbound.

       Everything I read, everybody said,

      the west is the best.

A wide open place, a wide open space.

A adventure that will never, ever, end.

New friends to meet and greet.

I'll follow the setting sun.  It'll be fun.

            Westbound.

The west is where I can be found.

The land has no end, unless you have been there, and care, you do not  truly understand.

The east a beast, a knife cut me.

A dagger took away my swagger.

A new life with my wife.

All night, a big bright moon, a delight.

           Westbound.

           Westbound.
