SHE LEFT WITHOUT SAYING GOODBYE

COUNTRY POEMS

       She left without saying goodbye.

I think I am going to cry.

I think I am going to die.

I look up in the sky and I ask why.

       She left without saying goodbye.

Why did she have to go?

To this idea, I say no.

Why did she have to say goodbye.

I thought us, we were giving a try.

       She left without saying goodbye.

       I guess we are done.

       Down went the sun.

That is the end of the day.

       No more will we play.

       She left without saying goodbye.

After, all I thought was fun.

After everything for her, I have done.

When I asked for more, there was none.

Away from me she was going to run.

       She left without saying goodbye.

    She decided to run away.

Another game, she wanted to play.

A game where she would win; make another guy grin.

    Make this guy cry.

       She left without saying goodbye.

I guess it is true, that we are through.

There is, with us, nothing new.

       Oh, it is very true.

There is nothing else to do.

Oh, she left without saying goodbye.

Yeah, she left without saying goodbye.
