Sure as the ocean is blue.
Right as a summer rain.
She does not want to hear that we are through.
From the nest; the lovebirds flew.
She does'nt want to say goodbye.
She will feel like she is going to cry.
She will feel like she is going to die.
A heart you did steal, and now will not give back.
A cause of a heart attack.
She does'nt want to say goodbye.
A phone, a dime, she will call, one more time.
She is afraid of being alone, again.
A feeling of walking down a long, long hall.
The mall after closing, a ball without a date.
A feeling not great.
Every time, she cries that it is happening again.
She does'nt want to say goodbye.
These are words she does not want to hear.
She lives in fear.
She will cry many, many, tears.
She does'nt want to say goodbye.
She does not want to say good night.
A day of delight.
A day full of fun and play.
A day and a night that have been great.
Oh, she does'nt want to say goodbye.
