        Whisper Patty, and remember when we were alone.

        And we felt cold to the bone.



  Whisper Patty in the city.

  Late at night, lights on in the buildings

  the bright lights, they are so pretty.

  I am the only one up.            



Whisper Patty in the country with all the nice people

and the smiles that go on for miles and miles.

and the quiet.



    Whisper Patty in the rain.  She took away all my pain.

    Whisper Patty in the snow.  There's no place we can't go.

            Whisper Patty on a train in Europe.

            Whisper Patty on a romantic Germany trip by plane.



            In the plains of Iowa, Whisper Patty

            and know that as husband and wife, there is nowhere

            that we cannot go.

        

        On the beach at night, the ocean and the sea.

        The moon and the stars so bright, they are a delight.

        Whisper Patty and tell her that they are not

        as pretty as her.

        We will go far.
