YOU STOLE MY HEART

Folder:
COUNTRY POEMS

                A passion and a fire.

As hot as a subway wire.

                A desire heat.

                You will never see defeat.

                You stole my heart.

                You fufilled a role.

                You, the mole.

You eying me, spying on me.

I think that was your goal.

Drill a hole right into my chest.

As comfy as a bird in a nest.

You chased me, all over the place.

Every place I go, you show.

  I know.

Everywhere I went, in my heart, you made a dent.

You pursued me, that is what you liked to do.

               You stole my heart.

               Waiting on me, baiting me.

               You were ready.

                Slow and steady.

You see, you were sweet as a tart.

You see, you aimed the love dart right at me.

You as fun as shopping at Target or Wal Mart.

You stole my heart, and made it snappy.

You stole my heart, and made me so happy.

               Oh, you stole my heart.

               Yeah, you stole my heart.
