YOU AND THE BEE

                I watch you.

You have in you, a great desire.

You have in you, a great fire.

You get higher and higher in the tree.

            Do you tire?

You climb rung by rung, careful not to get stung.

That would be like falling down in dung.

At the same time, you are smitten with great love for

     the bee.

You need to be careful and use gloves.

You may take a chance on a branch.

One bite or two, and you are through.

That is not something that you want to do.

I know you will never stop until the top.

You will see anything less as a flop.

You will stand at the top and look at the view.

It is one of the most exciting things you will ever do.

You hold your sword up high in the sky.

    Say, "my oh my."

    and collect your reward.
