               Such a light, such a bright.

               What a sight.  What a delight.

               All through the night.

               All through the bite.

              

              You were my lighthouse.



               When I could not see not a sight.

               When I did have a lot of fright.          

               When my worry was at it's height.  

               When things were not a delight.

              

              You were my lighthouse.



                A ray of light.  Better than ok.

                A beam of light.  Better than a dream.

                Around and around me.

                It is good to know that you are all around me.



               You were my lighthouse.



              All through the rain.

              All through the pain.

              When everything was driving me insane.

         When I tried to forget, but my thoughts were vain.

              you were my lighthouse.

  

                Oh, you were my lighthouse.
