           We went over the mountains.

           They touched the big, blue sky.

           There we sat, and looked at

           the wonder and joy in each other's eyes.

          

           Here we are.



           We climbed the hills.

           There were the thrills.

           There were the spills too.  OO.



            Here we are.



           There was a long night.

           There was no light.

           There was fright.

           We got over it.

           The lantern lit.



           Here we are.



           We survived the plains.

           We survived the pain.

           We survived the rain.

           Yes, at times, it seemed to drive us insane.

           As loud and as loud a train.

           We were trying to sleep.



           Here we are.

            

           We weathered the snow.

           Down from the sky.

           We never asked why.

           Away, it never seemed to go.



           We got over the high drifts and

           when we did, our spirits it did lift.



           Oh, here we are.

           Yeah, here we are.
