          I could have been more.



         There were things that I should not have found a bore.

        There were things that I should not have found a chore.

  There were things that I should not have chosen to ignore.

        There were things that I should not have found a snore.



          I could have been more.



        On a lot of things I slammed the door.

        Several times my head has been whammed.

        Several times I have been knocked to the floor.

       I was the golf ball after somebody yells four.



         I could have been more.



          The crowd did not roar.

          I could have said grrr.

          There were people I could have wowed.

          I did not score.  

          

            I could have been more.



            My boat has docked.

          My clock has stopped.

          My career was stabbed in the throat.

          My boat had a hole.

          I did not reach my goal.

          

             Oh, I could have been more.

            Yeah, I could have been more.
