WHEN ARE YOU COMING HOME?

Folder:
COUNTRY POEMS

               I feel so alone.

                You are not around.

              There's nothing to be found.

               Nothing to explore.

Closed and locked is the door.

           When are you coming home?

It really gets to my brain.

It can drive a person insane.

I walk in a heavy rain.

Loud, intense as a freight train.

A long, long, trip by plane.

           When are you coming home?

           Day after day after day.

            I, without you cannot play.

            It never seems to end.

            I wish I had a friend.

            When are you coming home?

             A big, big, house.

Nobody to talk to, but a mouse.

There is, without you, nothing to do.

              I feel so blue.

            When are you coming home?

               There's nobody there.

It's about you, that I really, really, care.

A heart on the way to defeat.

               I don't feel whole.

               My heart has a hole.

             When are you coming home?

             When are you coming home?
