           I would wait for you all night.

           I would not sleep.  I would not dream.

           For, if I missed you, I would scream.



            I would wait.

          

        I would wait for you until the morning light.

        When I finally saw you, it would be a delight.

        When I finally saw you, you would be an awesome sight.

  

              I would wait.



       Have no fright.  Have no fear.

       Do not be sad.  Do not get mad.

       My dear, do not shed a tear.

       My dear, be glad.

        

            Oh, I would wait.

            Yeah, I would wait.
