I walk the beach. You are out of reach.
I hang out by the pool. My life is not cool.
So many different people, but without you, I am just
the same.
I think I am going to go insne.
Out the window, the Miami Police chase a Mercedes.
I wish I was in a different place.
The music is rocking. It gets everybody talking.
Without you, I have the blues.
A Miami motel, just thinking of you.
I shed a tear. I try to hold the fear.
You see.
There are sounds of happiness, love, and joy all around me.
I try not to hear.
My dear, I wish it was you I was near.
I really need some cheer.
A Miami motel, just thinking of you.
The big ships going by, going to the Caribbean sea.
All I can think of, is why you left me.
Our ship is done docking.
We are through talking.
Away from each other, we are walking.
You went to a new man, a new love he was hawking.
Me, the people are mocking.

At night, I watch the rain. I think I'm going insane.
I watch TV, but there is nothing on.
I wait for the dawn.
I can't believe you are gone.
Sometimes, I can hear a freight train.
I try to sleep, but I toss and turn, without you I feel the burn.
Without you, in me, there is a huge pain.

The weather is too hot to stay in. I am so cold.
I go out, everybody has a grin.
I feel so sad. I feel so bad.
Everybody is having fun in the sun.
I just burn without my hun.
A Miami motel, just thinking of you.
There is a Target down the street.
I go there and walk, a scene I do repeat.
I play the games, but I lose as I am thinking of you.
This city, there is so much to do, but no fun without you.
I cry boo hoo.
