LOOKING FOR YOU

Folder:
COUNTRY POEMS

               It is nights straight now.

               It is not a delight.

               It makes me say wow.

It is something I really hate.

I am looking for you.  OO.

The time got late, and the lights go low.

My heart was beating at a fast rate.

I wondered where you did go.

I wondered if you were hid.

            I did not see you.

            I cried boo hoo.

I am looking for you.  OO.

               You cannot be found.

               You have not been around.

You, with your joyous, fun, sound.

          Your flight.

You, really, really, really, gave me a fright.

You, there was not a sight.

            It was not a delight.

I am looking for you.  OO.

            As the sun does set.

         As the light gets low.

I call, "Are you there?" and you say, "No."

No, this is not a delight.

You, I have failed to catch in my net.

You see, me am beginning to get up wound in worry.

        Please come back and hurry.

It is a feeling of missing you that is not great.

It is a feeling of missing you that I really hate.

I am looking for you.  OO.

It is not a matter of being late for a date.

It is a matter of not being there at all to get the call.

    I am going to bawl.

My heart has been hit by a wrecking ball.

It is worse than shopping at a crowded mall.

I am looking for you.  OO.

I am looking for you.  OO.
