LOOKING AT YOU, LOOKING AT ME

Folder:
COUNTRY POEMS

I see you, yes, it's true.

I can see you down the bar.

You're not away from me that far.

You see, it is with me, you want to play.

Tonight, until the light, it is with me, you want to stay.

I'm looking at you, looking at me.

I can see you, the room across, your hair you toss.

I can see you, your dress of red, as you turn your head.

I can see you, it's true, your dress of blue.

I'm looking at you, looking at me.

I can read your face, you want to leave the place.

You, in your pretty dress, want to know, can we go to my home address?

You, want to know, if I am here alone, will I take you home?

I'm looking at you looking at me.

You're trying to catch my eye, me a good looking guy.

You watch all the other guys go by, they ask why.

You're giving me the look.  On this, I have read the book.

It's me you want to hook.

You're trying to steal my heart, you crook.

Oh, I'm looking at you, looking at me.

Yeah, I'm looking at you, looking at me.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Guys know how to play too.  It's true.
Two can play the game.
