       It's been a long drive.

       At times, I did not feel alive.

       A long trip by car.  Yes, it was really far.

       A long trip by plane and train.  

       At times, I have gone insane.



       Almost home.



       There was not a good view.  Yes, it was true.

       There was the ocean.  There was the sea.

       I could see it looking back at me.

       There were the deserts, there were the plain.

       There was the night.

       It was not excite.



       Almost home.



       No longer will I be alone.

       I finally found some friends.

       My trip, my quest is at an end.

       A soft kiss on the lips.  

       It is really the best.

      

       Almost home.



       Almost heaven.

       All sevens.

       Winning money for my honey.

       I know at a casino.
