YOU GET ON MY NERVES

Folder:
COUNTRY POEMS

           You get to me inside.

There is no place to hide.

It seems that I am lost without a guide.

If I said I was upset at that, I would have lied.

The feeling of you inside, is soft as a cat.

If you ever left me, it would be like I was hit by a bat.

You get on my nerves, filling my straight life with curves.

           You get inside me deep.

You cover me, so I cannot utter a peep.

You make me feel, like I am standing on top of

           a high hill steep.

You have entered me, with just a creep.

You get on my nerves, filling my straight life with curves.

             Inside me, you seep.

            Like water, though getting hotter.

            Like a flood.

Like mud on my shoe.  Oh baby,

   Like a flower bud opening.

I cannot stop thinking of you

You stick on me, like glue.

                 You get on my nerves.

                 You get on my nerves.
