Where I Lay

Among the sun's lillies, I lay

That where the skyline hits moon rising

Where heat's blanket captures me, warms me.

There, my heart bursts

When I think of the soil

Where I will lay in softly, sweet some day.

Ocean waves I will become

And the oxygen the singers' sung.

The ants built houses

Where the horses run.

And the wind will blow through

Every door, each rung.

Maybe I will return to the land,

Where eternal sleep and dreams are one.

Colors of green and the leaves and trees, imaginative creations

Become undone.
