I know I feel the white sheets beneath me

And I know you feel them too

I sigh as the beads of sweat form on my back and shoulders

As my damp hair clings to my forehead and neck

I know I feel the security of your arms

And I know you feel me clinging to you

Desperatly, as if I'm afraid this moment

Will disappear and leave me with nothing

Your lips lightly press mine again and again

As I feel your fingers trace up my back and shoulders

I know I'm spinning from complete euphoria

And I know you are too

As we finally collapse, holding each other gently

Laying on white sheets

We fall asleep in angelic embrace

Finding our heaven in sleep

But feel an even greater feeling when we awake

And find we're still there
