Just Your Average Beauty Queen

Sure, I admit I liked dress-up

When I was 4.

I'll wear those skirts mountain climbing

And those sandals

But I hope you didn't need them back

Makeup I can stand

But I might go swimming with the guys

In the lake by the church

You just might need to apply another coat

Dresses with flowers, sure

I think they need dirt, don't they?

Let's go riding in the trails in the woods

I just hope you have better dresses than this one

Jewelry, sure I'll wear them

But they might end up a bit bloody

Training, you see...

Hey, but he deserved it!

I told you I liked dress-up...

When I was 4.

I'm just your average beauty queen

The girl next door.

Author's Notes/Comments:

A weird poem that I wrote also when I was in another of my tomboy moods.
