I wish I could take back

All the hateful words

I wish I could take back

All the nice, forgiving thoughts

I wish I hadn't wasted all my time

Talking to you and comforting you

I wish I could burn

All those letters I wrote you

And I wish I could just

Erase the memory of all the good times

But I also wish

I could treasure them forever

I wish I could break

All those gifts I gave you

And sometimes...

I wish you still loved me

But most of all

I wish I never knew you

Or how much pain you'd cause me
