One Two Hope Four

I spend my evenings
cross-legged
in front of your
morbidity
Staring at her
Solidity
Skeletons surround you
naked
you're vulnerable
but you're not
Shaken
your skin
is like my breath
and a rainbow
it's blue and cream
and flows down the way
the rain goes
Your hair is a fiery mess
and burns like the hue of my own
You've stopped wandering
in this place of Death
But where do you call "Home"
What gets you through this?
How can you do this
Your belly nearly wider
then the height of you
your clear blue eyes peer at me
-before they pierce right through
Gold, Gold everywhere
the many cloaks of Death
hanging-looming there
And there's the skeleton-
and right below
the flowery crown adorns you
like a white halo
Why did you go there
what made you choose there
you're giving birth
as you sentence death
and neatly fold your hands to rest
above your belly and below your breast
in the cycle of life you manifest
your quite naked self in death
inhale deeply-
as if it were your last breath
