There's an Icestorm any more

I think I wouldn’t mind a table full of flowers

so long as there’s a place

to put them

there’s a cavity inside

I find myself hiding behind

and don’t look now, but here it comes….

I felt that whisper right through me

a soft wind that's raging

struggling to pull it’s force

I see the trees are all burning

the embers high and gleaming

like they’re dipped in glitter stars

I feel you’re words creep into me

slithering throughout my body

the meaning never seemed to matter…

they just left me with this feeling

I don’t think I’ll ever be the one

to dr up everything like the sun

I am a storm and when it rains it pours

they just left me with this feeling

there’s a feeling I can’t ignore
