I miss you more than my words can say,

I think of you almost every day,

I loved you when you were my friend,

I thought we'd be that way til the end,



Sometimes the memories make me weep,

I always thought you were mine to keep,

I'd like to meet again one day,

I'd like to take your pain away,



Every time I see a the Tyne,

I think of you and wish you were mine,

Our friendship I thought, was just destined to be,

You were my strenght, you supported me,



Despite the memories I hold in my heart,

I always miss you, when we're apart.
