I never was a good friend

But for some reason you stuck around

You gave me a shoulder to cry on

You never let me down



I always seemed to be mean

And never be around for you

Expecually when you needed me the most

And I always seemed to push people away



I told you that we were best friends

And I truely do mean it

Even though I don't show it

I want you to know I care



I will always be there for you

From now on I will be a better friend

So when your down and sad

Just call me up and I'll be there



Cause no matter what guy comes around

We will always be true friends

And even when you are mad at me

Just find it in your heart to forgive me



Cause this is who I am

And I can not change that

No matter how I try this is who I'll be

You figured that out but you never left me to cry
