Odius to a "Hero" - Tim McVeigh

Odious to a “Hero”

Ring the bells of martyrdom,

And let the anthems play,

A “hero” marched to face his death,

That “hero”, Tim McVeigh

He was the master of his fate,

The captain of his soul,

He “bravely” faced a sterile death,

Apparently; his goal.

He made his point for all to see,

The government has flaws,

And so to point these out to us,

He flaunted human laws.

This soldier of misfortune dared

To make a statement bold,

And coldly calculated death

Was worth what he would mold.

Unable in his twisted mind

To face the foe direct

He loaded up a rental truck

And then delivered death

The faceless foe was now defined

He’d hit the government,

His act of vengeance so refined

He tucked his tail and went

A gaping hole, and silent screams

That echo still today,

Of children in a nursery

“Side damage” to McVeigh

So now he’s gone, he’s paid the price

For his six years of fame

His victims are anonymous

But we all know his name

And so the story makes an end

There’s little more to tell

Except to give one last salute

Dear Tim, PLEASE ROT IN HELL!!!

Author's Notes/Comments:

Tim McVeigh ...

The pain he caused was terrible.  He's a great argument for the Death Family.
