Why Don't You

Folder:
2003

I saw you on the first day of high school

I was roaming the halls, getting lost

Nowhere to sit at lunch

I had no friends, but you took me in

I knew, right then, you were it

And I told you how I feel

How don't you feel like me?

We got so much in common

It's almost like harmony

And why can't you see

That I'd do anything for you?

So why don't you like me

The way that I want you to?

Second year came, and no one was the same

I still liked you, but you said I had changed

So I took all your classes, and gave you the answers

I tried diving head first with no water in the pool

So here we are now, no where when or how

And I try to speak, but my lips won't allow

I stand here in awe because you have no flaws

And in my eyes this is where we belong
