There was a time when all I knew

Was all there was to know

But now I have come to learn

That I knew nothing at all



And everyday I seem to find

Yet another lesson to learn

I ask why wasn't someone there

To point which way to turn



The answer lies within myself

If I seek then I shall find

A newer way of understanding

A way to change my mind



And as I do I open doors

These places unseen are real

But the only way to walk on through

Is to change the way I feel
