@ 27.055 MHz: Ad Astra; After Walt Whitman's Poem, "We Two Boys Together Clinging"

Two boys together summering---

their souls together efflorescing,

their bodies eagerly adolescing.

Random observances are adhering

to each other, patterns of significances cohering

(despite the chaos of society's intruding

and parental expectations' obfuscating).

Shoes abandoned---their feet, bare or socksheathed, gliding;

mesh tees and baggy lounging pants sufficing.

Before the first stars ignited, their Love received founding---

lifelong, monogamous, commitment unrelenting,

together in vows given and received and inviolably sacred,

and then in consummation, intimately celebrating . . .

naked.
