I became a Christian after a first visitation
to a Baptist chapel. Faith in the Gospel I had long read
about admitted me to the joy of Salvation---
which is now and ever shall remain my soul's chief exultation.
Along the old path and good way Christ's Gospel, long-read,
deflecting the creepy reach of worldly aggravation,
has caused me to become Starward-Led.
